The newest Flagship model from Ferretti Yachts is the all new Ferretti 1000 Mille. This is the first time the Ferretti shipyard has built a yacht that is 100 feet, but also the first time they have a built a 100% full wide-body vessel.
In order to maximize the space and ensure excellent performance; 100% of the superstructure and the hard top are made of carbon fiber.
The overall interior style is focused on maximizing comfort and to make the owner and their guest to feel like they are at home. The exterior styling is meant to be clean cut and simple.
Glass is prominent on the exterior, allowing light into all decks, while teak is featured on the body, from the walkways and stairs to the flybridge, and even on the curves of the hatches.
There are multiple stairways across the exterior to allow for quick movement between levels.
The stern is a new, enlarged area set up to socialize and measuring over 430 square feet, with a beach club that connects the swim platform to the cockpit. The swim platform is intended to lower the tender into the water, and three steps on each side that open as the platform drops, providing easy access for swimmers.
The tender garage, with space for a Williams 445 tender, Jet Ski and two Seabobs, comes with an independent entrance on the starboard side. One would typically find this type of setup on a much larger yacht.
The five-stateroom interior has also been super-sized, with the main lounge floor-to-ceiling windows providing a private view of the ocean and a 107-sq. Ft. kitchen that is significantly bigger than yachts in the same class.
The galley is also equipped with every appliance a gourmet might have in his house kitchen. At the touch of a button, an electric wall panel also opens, exposing a bar that links to the galley space, so friends can watch the chef cook meals, producing yet another pleasurable opportunity.
Hull #3 is on order and scheduled to arrive in Fort Lauderdale in October 2021, but I expect the yacht to sell prior to arrival.
