Pershing 6X hull #2 arriving to Florida!
Last week, Pershing Yachts introduced their newest model, referred to as the Pershing 6X, which will replace the successful Pershing 62 model.
The Pershing 6X is equipped with MAN V12 1550 hp engines propelling this yacht to a top speed of 48 knots and cruising speed at about 42 knots. Once again, the exterior styling and design comes from the collaboration between long time Pershing designer Fulvio De Simoni and the Ferretti Group Product Strategy committee which is led by Piero Ferrari.
Some of the new features on the Pershing 6X are the large glass windows in the hull sides providing a plentiful amount of natural light to the lower cabins. The Pershing 6X looks right at home with other Pershing Generation “X” models, there is an aerodynamic look to the boat that resembles a rocket! The yacht looks like its moving at 50 mph, even when its tied to the dock. The new helm area is a work of art, made up of carbon fiber controls and two 19 inch monitors. There is a newly styled large aft sun pad with a carbon fiber and teak table in the cockpit area.
The Pershing 6X can be built with a two or three cabin layout, but for the American market we always order the boat with two cabins and a lower media room.
I could tell you about the performance and the thrill of driving this missile, but that would be like me trying to explain a good movie…you have to experience it yourself!!!!!
Hull #2 is currently on order and scheduled for delivery to the United States/ Florida in October of this year. At the time this blog was written, hull #2 is still available for purchase.
