Summer Yacht Sales

Ocean Alexander 35R

It’s amazing how quickly time flies and season’s pass!

This summer, in terms of yacht sales, it was still a busy one.  It was proven that there still is a healthy demand for yachts.

Immediate Deliverable Yacht inventory is still at an all-time low, so most of the sales happening are for new build ordered yachts, with some delivery times pushing into 2024.

I am thankful to report my personal career best for yacht sales in 2022.  As of today, my 2022 transactions include a new 2022 68 Riva Diable, a 2018 62 Pershing, another 62 Pershing, a 38 Rivamare, another 38 Rivamare, a new 50 Pardo and new construction orders for a 2024 Ocean Alexander 35R meter, a 2024 110 Riva DolceVita, a 2023 76 Riva Perseo, a 2023 90 Riva Argo and the new project from Riva, the 130 Riva Bellissima, which is scheduled to deliver in 2024

In terms of pleasure, it was priceless to spend time with my family this summer.  I was able to bring my wife and three children to one of the best islands in the world (personal bias opinion), Nantucket.  After Nantucket, we headed off to Montauk, NY for the Allied Marine Rendezvous. The Yacht Rendezvous was executed perfectly as clients arrived to Navy Beach by yacht tenders, but for me the best part was taking my son for a test drive in the Ferrari Roma.

As the summers end quickly approaches, the entire yachting industry turns its focus towards the busy fall European boat show season.

The season starts even earlier for Ferretti Group, kicking off their annual Ferretti Group VIP Private Preview, held at the Yacht Club de Monaco during the first weekend of September.  This is a special event where almost every Ferretti Group model, whether it is a Riva, Pershing, Ferretti, Wally or Custom Line, is on display and able to do sea trials.

After the Ferretti Group Private preview, comes the Cannes yachting Festival, then to the Genoa International Boat Show, then off to the grandaddy of them all, the Monaco Yacht Show, which ends the European season.

That’s when I wave my goodbye’s to my European colleagues, but not for long… we reconnect a month later at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, running from October 26- 30.

I look forward to seeing you all at the boat shows and please reach out to me anytime at +1-954-931-2230. I would love to help in any way possible!
